The November 2014 30 in 30 challenge — one cover song a day for 30 days — brought an eclectic combination of songs and performances. In this first This Musical Life podcast, I talk with challenge participants Kevin Knowles and Ian McFadden about the process, what we all learned, and where we’re all going from here.
For me, the challenge was a kick-start to my solo songwriting and performing career. I discovered my strong points and areas in performance where I can improve my delivery, and learned a lot about the sorts of songs that work for me.
